I had a comment from a player that the cardboard rulers worked better than the wood because of the color, now here's a solution!

The color on the cardboard rulers is handy, but it will not help much when those rulers get worn out. I learned that lesson with Wings of War.

Umm, playing the game. It did not take long for them to start to warp really bad and the printed laminate paper to start to peel from the card core.

Wow, I'm amazed. Mine have had some pretty heavy use over the years (club nights, shows, my kids and their friends - who are rather less than careful on occasion) and they look as good now as when they came out of the box. Perhaps you had a duff printing or something?

Similar problem. Doesn't help when a number of the players like to munch chips and other greasy items while gaming. Paper just absorbs too well....

I really would like to ban food from the table, and will definitely have folks put their drinks on the ground. I think when I run the longer games at Origins, we'll take a 10 minute break in the middle to let people munch, if desired. I might put wipes on the table when they return. I can sleeve cards, but I do want the other components to last awhile.

    Or lack of consideration.
