Jack Aubrey had his long 9 pdr chase guns, and I was always envious.

Now Grace will have her own chasers, a pair of long 12oz'ers.

This is a mockup I just knocked together, a proof of concept. The real pair will be wood, possibly with a lime quoin.

You will have to watch your manners now Dobbs with a pair of Quakers aboard.

Teak! You can actually get scrap teak Dobbs. I am just using my very last board in the renovation of my nextdoor neighbour's table.

I have so many little pieces left over from Grace projects, I can afford to make silly things out of $30/bf wood!

I can bring you some when we come to visit....

That is very kind of you Dobbs, but don't go weighing your luggage down on my account. Have you thought about arranging your visit to coincide with Doncaster Con or would that take you too far into the Fall. The Autumn can be very lovely here or it can also be very lively.

Is there some issue with the images? I can't get them to work, I'm afraid.

I have found logging out, then checking the post, then logging back in works for some reason.

The pictures are fine now, don't know why.

    Creative, Dobbs! I like it!
