Just a reminder to all, we have a Wings Table booked for this show next weekend.

We have one table for Wings WW1, but of course we can be open to other periods.
unfortunately I cannot be there due to a medical appointment, so looking for others to attend and fly the flag.
Please say here if you can attend and what you can supply if needed.

I shall keep an eye here to co-ord.

Although the programme says Sails of Glory it is Wings we will put on, I shall inform the organisers.

Address is the George Stephenson Exhibition Hall,

    Newark and Nottinghamshire Showground,

    Lincoln Road, Winthorpe,
    Newark.

I will be there to run a game if no one else steps forward Chris, but I think Chris Lambert will also be there, so there will be two of us at least. After Doncaster it will be nice to get back to WW1. for a change.

I believe Tim (sales but no sails) will be there as he hasn't confirmed for Flight Club this time which is the same day.

He may be overjoyed then that the game I'm putting on only has WW2 German ships in it and no sails on view.

    Thanks Dave.
We had a great day in spite of a couple of the leading lights being absent. Simon put in a fleeting visit, but as you may know Chris was unable to get up from bristol and Tim had to cry off because of a roaring cold. I ran a game with an attack on a crippled Vitoria Venito accompanied by a Cruiser escaping from the battle with Cunninghams Fleet. We pitted Fairiy Swordfish escorted by Fairy Fulmers against Italian Macchis. Although the FAA took several casualties, they did manage further damage to the Venito, and eventually sank the cruiser.
In the Afternoon Ruth, (Mrs Biggles) ran her Tripods game. After a bloody confrontation the Tripods were vanquished when their supreme commander in an attempt to escape from his damaged machine was blown up.
I will post a couple of pictures when I get time. Today is a bit busy for me.
