Default AAR - A Skirmish of Giants 1801

Here is a short AAR from a skirmish between me and my friend, played with some of the larger ships of the British and Spanish fleets.

Just goes to show the power of a raking Broadside. If you open with double shotted cannon and first time of firing bonus it can certainly tip the scales in your favour. No wonder Nelson accepted the unanswered fire from the Franco-Spanish so that his ships could break the line in succession and deliver a broadside on both beams at the same time. The trick is to get into the correct position, which you achieved excellently Stian.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.
