    The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

    Incredible game that. One of the chaps in our Too Fat Lardie group in the US ran a similar game using KMH and the 1/700 Warlord ships at Historicon last weekend. It was not the full battle however. That took them the entire weekend.
