Overnight I glued down my second element of the three, and sealed it with PVA.

Today it was undercoated and I began to assemble the structures and paint them.

You can see it here juxtaposed with element one, the Old town.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

Rob, are the long buildings in your city the Brigade Terraced Houses? I'm looking for barracks for my Fort McHenry and those look promising. I am planning to order goodies to be waiting for us when we get home.

    Hi Dobbs.

Yes they are mainly a mix of sss-8012 terraced houses, and sss-8166 French Market Square, but for your purposes the terraces with a bit of judicious filing and cutting would suit the best.

Strange mounds I finally figered out were supposed to represent rope coils, were in the way for mounting the cannon, so I had to remove half of them.

Now here is one I didn't have to make earlier.
A nice little bounty from Brigade Models. Also with a ship to give you the scale.

Looking good, Vol and Rob. That Bounty is worthy of a proper mutiny and the fort of a proper siege.

    Thanks Paul and Rob.
Is that Brigade fort in their 2MM collection? I hadn't seen that one before. I have several of their forts and they are outstanding IMO.
