That is a very fine fort Vol. I could have used that for several of my projects.
Yesterday was a bit of a blank for modding for me. I just built up a bit of the terrain which I could not do with my Router, and marked out a bit of harbour wall ready for cutting so nothing to show.
Today it is shopping and then going with Mrs Bligh to the Hospital so not much chance again today.
I will be interested to see your completed fort.

Hospital? I hope everything is ok Rob.

Thanks, the best thing is the fort was free! Haha I am surprised no one has commented about the TP in my photos. I use it to blot up excess paint during washes. I think this roll has lasted over a year. The roll before that was commandeered during the pandemic TP shortage, lol.
This is what the real fort looks like:

The next booknook for my youngest daughter's birthday is coming along. She wants the Bridge at Khazad Dum scene fron Lord of the Rings. I have taken it about as far as I can until she supplies the balrog. She wants to sculpt it from clay herself.

Beautiful ship Jonas. You are going to have a formidably large Spanish fleet!

You can see from the overview that I have also fitted the harbour and forts by removing the blue foam which was in the harbour mouth.

Those are scary. T&P to both of you, she's gonna need some strong shoulders to lean on through the recovery.

Ditto what DB said. My sister had a hip replaced last year. It took her about nine weeks of physical therapy to recover. I wish for Mrs Bligh an easy operation and speedy recovery.

And the town is looking your usual fantastic!

And YOU're gonna have to be foremost among those strong shoulders--my advice to you two would be start getting a support network of friends and family to help out and getting into practice a few weeks before Game Day--if nothing else, assuming your idiots start backing off just visiting to give her an occasional familiar-face change of company while you go run errands and such.

Hang in there, both of you!

    Thanks for the advice DB.
Number one son and his partner have already offered their services, as has my neighbour across the street.

That's a start, Rob--many hands make for light work, as the old saying goes. :) I suspect that much of the domestic disharmony in my own household (to the point that I volunteer for extra Neighborhood Watch shifts on weekends and holidays to get a break) is being unable to implement that; it's just me and my aunt to help and none of Mom's few friends are anywhere nearby.
