Default I'm pleased to meet ye.

Hi all, I'm new to the forum, and indeed to Sails of Glory as well, but I'm a long time tabletop gamer and an old old fan of the Aubrey and Maturin books.

Welcome from California Jason. I'm fairly new to the Anchorage having joined this past February. I was new to Sails of Glory and I learned a lot regarding how to play from the various threads posted in the forum section. The shipmates here have also been great at answering questions. I hope you find this to be as great a site as I have.

    Welcome to the Anchorage.

If you have any questions we'll probably have someone who has an answer and be happy to help out.

There's a lot of information to find here. Hope you have fun playing Sails of Glory.

On behalf of all your new shipmates here over the pond in Olde England, welcome to the Anchorage Jason.
if any of the very knowledgeable matey's here can't deal with your questions, I'll be a Dutch Admiral.
I am sure a lot more will be along to make your number as soon as they return from their present cruise / come off watch/ or recover from their present night in the Wardroom.
Until then sail safe, with a fair wind and a willing foe.

    Rob.
The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.
