    Default Redoing that old app...

I've just started redoing my old app for keeping the logs on an iPhone or iPad.

This time I have upgraded to Swift, which is a new programming language that Apple have switched over to.
I'm trying to make it a bit more user friendly this time so perhaps someone else than me could use it when it's released. Than will probably not be before summer anyway...

A taste of how it looks when selecting your fleet...

This in on an iPhone Xs Max, which is what I use myself.

The same app on an old iPad. I use that too.

This is how the same app looks on an older iPhone.

I just hope I will make it work all the way this time. In the previous version I added ships by entering them in the code and building a new app for them.

This looks interesting, presumably it will only work on an iphone rather than android?

What is the scope of it? To replace the log or will you use it to direct AI for solo games or maybe record their movement cards? I quite like the logs and fiddling arround with all the damage and other chits, but they take up a lot of space, an app that you can scroll through for a log would be a huge saving in space.
    Good luck with this.

I have used it to keep the logs of several ships. Basically it handles all rules about actions and damage, showing the log. It didn't replace drawing chits.

This is the first screen where you drag ships from the top to the middle to add them to the fleet that you will fight with. There's going to be names and perhaps some more information on the ships.

    Sounds interesting Jonas.
Could save me a lot of paperwork and storage space when I get my new Phone!

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

Turns out there's happened quite a lot in the last years. I'm slowly getting the hang of it, but it'll take bit of time.

I was hoping to use a lot of the old app, but it'll mostly be the graphics and I'm even updating a lot of that.

I have finally gotten my Mac-mini today. It took a few months since it was a special order, but it was also delayed some.

I hope to really get started now.
