These last two papers on Privateering are of particular interest to me because I recently read a series of novels set in the period and looking at the War from the American Privateer's viewpoint, which made a very pleasant change.
Thanks once more for posting these for our benefit.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

Academia.edu keeps emailing me about more and more papers on privateering and on the War of 1812, so I'm sure there will be more.
