    Default My 40 gun frigates.

I have painted and rigged all my 40 gun frigates but one. Thought I should share some pictures.

The first three are original but painted and rigged.

The next three have had some modifications made. The two first have had their sterns exchanged for Langton sterns. The Swedish frigates have had their poop extended.

And the last three have had their poops removed and Langton sterns fitted.

As you can see on the few that has flags fitted they are attached by loops and can be exchanged. That's why they are finished but not all have flags.

Lovely colors, as before! I like the blue trim on HMS Lively, and the reds on Diana :)

These are exceptionally beautifully looking ships Jonas.
Are you trying to give someone else a run for his money?

I do like the 40 gun frigates, they have very nice lines and are substantial small ships. You have done an excellent job converting these, I'm very envious of you.
    Cheers

    Very true John.
We do not have enough 40 gun Frigates.
That is something else to go on the wish list.

    Thank you everyone.

I do think the 40 gun frigates is a size that’s very fun ship to use in Sails. It’s the frigate I have the most of.
