    Default 3D Printed Terrain

I ran across this on Thingiverse, and I'm thinking about using it for coastal terrain. It's about the right size for us, and it looks like I can mount things like coastal fortifications, lighthouses, etc. and/or modify it to make space for a harbor town.

Looks like a very good system Jason.
The presentation lacked a bit of finesse, but the concept and production of the modules is admirable.
I only wish I had a locking system for my terrain like that for when an over enthusiastic punter leans over the modules and moves them apart on the table with his elbow, coat, or rucksack.

Why do I always notice the cleft in the terrain after taking the photo?

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

It looks like a good idea for anyone with a 3D printer. If you go ahead with it, please post some photographs, Jason.
