    If you have Amazon Prime, the documentary, Chasing Shackelton, sees a group of adventurers recreate Ernest Shackleton's 720-nautical mile journey across the stormy Southern Ocean from Antartica to South Georgia in a lifeboat with period clothing and equipment to experience the difficult crossing as close to Shackleton's as possible:

    The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.
