    Default Birthday pressies.

Here are the Birthday pressies that I got which were relevant to Sails. The Light from Captain Kiwi is to help me to see better when modelling.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

Also thank you Dave and Julián.
One of those three ships is destined to become an HEIC Indiaman.

I have been known to tell my students that I find it a sobering thought that I have shoes older than them....
    Enjoy the day!

    Nice one Bill.
If only I had that shot in my locker when I was teaching.

    Thanks Chris and Jonas.
A very good day. In the mail was my cheque for the quarters Electricity generation. In addition, a couple of new Goldfish for my pond, and a photo of the Tripods I should have got. A tenner from an old friend, and yet to come a Baldrick for my Officer's Hanger. The current one not being appropriate for an Officer as it still has my Bayonet scabbard attached.
We ended the evening at our favorite Italian restaurant in company with the good Captain and Mrs Kiwi, and a few G & ts.

That's what happens when I send you off on a solo mission.
Thanks for the good wishes Gary.

Happy belated birthday from Suzanne and me, Rob!

I swear, it's the time zone difference. Maybe I had my sextant upside down. Sorry I'm late...

Thank you Suzanne and Dobbs for the birthday wishes. It reminded me of a Key Lime pie I had when we were with Richard and Sheryl in Virginia Beach.

Incidentally, you could not have had your Sextant upside down. You are not that far South.
