    Default Happy Birthday HMS Dreadnought

Today, in 1906, HMS Dreadnought, the first "all big gun battleship", set the standard for the next 50 years. The USS Arizona, sunk on Dec 7, 1941 was the last of the "Super Dreadnoughts". I don't often come to the Anchorage anymore, but when I do, I'm usually drunk.

Good to hear from you Ken. I spend a lot of time here mostly drunk.
So here is on to the dear old Dreadnought.
and one to yourself for reminding us all.
    Bligh.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.
