    Default Captain Pugwash

I well remember this British Childrens TV cartoon from my younger days, years later there was controversy as to the double meanings of some of the characters names. This it seems was disproved in a court case brought by the writer but it still brings on a smile when I think about it!

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

Interesting that he started life in the Eagle which I used to get back in the day....and excellent thread.

I think I'll lay off trying to post anything for a while because in all probability it's already been done (and better) LOL.

    Don't stop posting Ken.
How else can we all share our knowledge.
We all bring something to the table if we take part.

The other important factor about which we old hands get a bit blase is the fact that revisited subject matter may well be totally new to recently joined members and not necessarily easy to find amongst years of posts. It is easier to find if you at least know it exists. If you want to see the full development of this look at the Drome where you will now find a ten year old Rabbit warren to explore
