New to the game but not to the genre. Currently burning my wallet through a bunch of new minis, and scouring the web to find any source of ship masts and coastal batteries and forts packs. Hopefully Ares decides on a reprint soon!

Looking forward to good discussions and excited to find such an active community still going!

This post seems to have been stuck in the moderation queue for a couple of days Joseph.
So a belated welcome on behalf of the rest of the sailors at the Anchorage.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

If you have the time, a really cool convention is in mid-May in southern Maine called "Huzzah!" -- there will be a big Sails of Glory game on Saturday morning and two Wings of Glory games (Saturday night and Sunday morning). I went last year and had a great time. Perhaps you might consider coming to play Sails with us ?

Soundw like a fantastic event! Unfortunately will not be able to attend, but I will have to keep an eye out for other larger events like this near by. Thank you
