    Default Site going down.

I just want to update you on the situation vs the two sites. This is the message sent to me by Keith this morning.

    Hey Rob,

As you are aware, the sites are down again. There is an issue with the domain server. It has been addressed with the hosting site, but they say it might be 2 days before they get to fixing it. To compound the issue, I'll be leaving for vacation on Thursday for just over a week. So they might fix the DNS issue after I leave and the sites could still need some tweaking to get them back online.

Just wanted to give you a heads up on what's going on.

    Keith.

Same here... Especially the "Store" side. I wanted to order some stuff but, all I get is 500 error.

AHOY, ADMIN FOLK(S)! I know things have been up and down all week and you are working on resolution. I have been out on the Sails of Glory Facebook page and one of that group has been trying to sign up and join our august crew. Sascha Hoche has requested membership, but has yet to receive the confirmation email (yes, he has checked his spam folder!). I suspect the confirmation may have gotten lost in the ether with all the site volatility this week. I hope you can resolve this issue!

Although, not as important as the 100 Years Posts...

I wanted to post about the first Wings of Glory Campaign Game at the Comox Air Force Museum, tomorrow (24 March 2018). That will also have to wait...

    Hi Richard.
At present I am locked out of the Admin section and can not even see any incoming mail let alone do a thing about it. As Keith is away for over a week, even if the people who run the Domain sort out the problems, he will not be able to do the tweaks until he returns next week.
It is amazing to me that we have not gone off line yet. Could you please let your contacts know the situation and tell them that I will sort it out as soon as possible.
    Thanks.
    Rob.

Keith will not be back until after Thursday Dave, and then he will need a few days to tweak the system.

The time to worry is when they start talking back to you.
Then it's time to lay off the Port for a bit Scott.

Folks who can't get onto the site might have to delete their browser cache? That often is what blocks you from getting back to a site that's been down or gone through various changes.

I popped into the Aerodrome site a little while ago and it appeared to be working well. I'm still thinking about the wooden wind gauge and range rulers.
