Default New ships from Minairons miniatures. Scale 1/600

Hi all, I take the oportunity to show my lastest work done for Minairons miniatures.

A new range of ships in scale 1/600 is coming. There are two ships for now, a spanish early galleon (1600) and a spanish later galleon (1700).

More eye candy Julián. If only they were in my period and scale.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

Beautifully painted and very good looking hulls, but I find the sails to look... they're not billowing right.

I think the same. I already spoke with the owner of the brand and I mentioned some changes that he should make (for example, the masts were originally made of resin and now he is going to sell them in white metal). You can imagine the masts in resin and the odyssey of rigging the boat ... Personally I would have liked a design of the boats more similar to those of Zvezda instead of those of Peter Pig, but that is a decision of the owner, I am just the painter.

    Best regards

I would like they sell some accesories to complete the desing of the ship: crow's nest, anchors, ratlines... but he said me that thees encrease the cost of the ship and doesnt want do it for now. If sometime do it would be like a complement.

+1 The sails don't really have the right shape for 17c sails, at least for the earlier galleon. They could also mold on the bonnet on the courses (a piece attached to the foot of the course to give extra sail area prior to the innovation of reefing).

As always though beautiful modeling and painting from Julian.
