    Default Hola Amigos!

    Hello there,

No Australian fleet! Land is clear then, so why don't I hoist the flag of Castile Leon of the Hapsburgs and declare thus land in the Holy Majesty King Charles II's name... arrgh, whatever, just being full of monkeys at the moment, can't help it to fool around. Anyway, I am already a member of the Wings of Glory forum (Dog of War on there). Joined this one since I am interested in getting to know the rule-set and applying it to the Golden Age of Piracy (think of Odyssey of Captain Blood and Chronicles of Captain Blood by Rafael Sabatini - these are the books that got me inspired). Looking forward to seeing you all around and getting some age of sails goodness on the table going.

    Cheers all,

    Oleksandr

Good morning Oleksandr or should I say Don Olessandro. If you arrived around 1788 this chap may have something to say to you.

Govenor Phillip of New South Wales.

If a few years later, it could well be me.

Anyway joshing aside, welcome to the Band of Brothers who go to make up the crews berthed here in the Anchorage. Do feel free to pop along to the wardroom and share your experiences with your shipmates over a glass or three. I'm sure you will find the voyage entertaining.

Bligh. (Admiral and one time Govenor of NSW)
The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

No problem Oleksandr, it was nice to meet someone with my sort of sense of humour.
