The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

Yes happy Independence Day to our American friends. Sorry that the virus makes it difficult to celebrate in the usual fashion.

There wasn't much happening here. All parades, car shows, fireworks, etc. cancelled due to the virus.

I know the feeling Vol. For VE Day we had a street party with everyone confined to their front gardens. Just to remember though is what really counts. There will be plenty of good years to come.
