    Default Permission to come aboard?

I'm Michael. I'm from Ward Hill, MA, USA.

I took part in the Sails of Glory kick starter, and have been enjoying the game ever since. With the introduction of the Spanish Ships in wave 3, I decided to do an (abridged) Battle of Trafalgar scenario, and I wound up here when looking for resources.

I have been table top gaming since the early 80's, focusing on the Dark and Middle Ages, with occasional forays into Age of Sail and other Naval. A few years ago I caught the Pirate Pox, and with the release of Sails of Glory, have gotten into the Age of Sails a little deeper. I also play Star Wars X-Wing when my historical gaming friends are not looking.

Those friends are mostly fellow members of the Northern Conspiracy wargaming club (thenortherconspiracy.org), that meets monthly in Portsmouth, NH. I also attend Huzzah! in Portland, ME, each May, and Carnage in Killington, VT each November. I'll be running the Battle of Trafalgar game at Huzzah! on Saturday night, May 20th.

To see pictures of past games that I have run, you can go here:https://www.flickr.com/photos/127078...7646323479317/. Although there are not too many Sails of Glory game pictures there, I hope to post more soon.

On behalf of the Fleet at the Anchorage may I formally welcome you Michael.
There will be a cold collation and drinks served in my day cabin this evening.
Please join us for a glass of Madeira and a chinwag.
    Bligh.
The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.
