Well chaps I am back and as only the facilitator with a super stats committee in place well before I took over I say more power to your elbows, and if you and DM would like to include Niek amongst your number and if he is prepared to join with us Go ahead say I. Also despite the fact that Chris states that he is only trying to build a fleet, I think that he also has a lot to offer.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

Have I missed what a 2nd Rate's Burden is? What about Veer?

Hi Dobbs, as the Dreadnoughts are three deckers as The first rates, my intention was to keep the burden and veer the same.
The only difference will be HMS Prince to be discussed in a seperate thread.
The values of length etc I have put in the stats section, although I will add the tonnage later today, byt the Dreadnoughts seem to be very similar to the Royal Soverign in game terms, main difference seems to be crew.
Unless you got any different ideas you want to put forward

    Great Chris.
I can then knock out some cards.

No, Chris, I like everything you've got so far. I started on my mini, a Queen Charlotte with the masts from a Mini-geldos that I have been sacrificing for spare parts (the masts on those being re-used from the Wave 1 3rd rates).

Dobbs, it's worth pointing out again that Neptune is a special case--only negligibly smaller than a true First Rate. The older, smaller Seconds like the Dukes and Londons might get maybe a point more Veer, possibly one less Burden--I'm not sure exactly, but distinctly a lower tier than the Neptunes, possibly Prince slotting in in between on firepower but weaker hull by stats or special ability.
