    Default Variations in paint schemes

I have tried to make some variations in the paint schemes of my older British 74s.

Do any of you have any more suggestions to what could be done?

Apart from the fact that Ilove what you have done, I can't better your results.
One day I will find time to differentiate my ships like that.

    I love the bottom one!

You could try painting the back black perhaps?

Looks very nice. I may try something like that on the Spanish ships of Wave 3. Hopefully they'll arrive before 2017?

Yes, I've understood that the Spanish was a bit more lavish, but still up to the captain and his personal spending.

Many old models show a blue streak with "doodles" in yellow or gold. I guess those were common on the ships but would be impossible for me to paint on the Sails of Glory ships.

I hope so too Jim, .otherwise it will be the third year running that my Christmas present transmogrifies into a birthday present.

I hope my Christmas present transmogrifies into a birthday present. That would mean it comes two weeks early.

It's been rather quiet from Ares so I do wonder if the ships are even on the ground stateside? We're 2/3's through November so time will tell?

I hope so too Jonas, as my birthday is not until the middle of March.

In that case I have no chance of getting them for Christmas, as the trans Atlantic postal time goes up by about two weeks at that time. I thought they had November on their site.

They posted November on Facebook when they were at Spiel. It's looking more like December at this time.
