    Default The Mary Rose

The remains of King Henry VIII's flagship, the Mary Rose, will be on public display in Portsmouth from tomorrow (20th July) after 34 years of conservation. It was unveiled to the press today. It will be much more open to viewing than it has been.

    Saw the BBC coverage Dave.
Last time we were there they had turned off the water but loads of pipework was still in the way.
My CO in Lace Wars does leather work for the Mary Rose trust. Replicas for the Interpreters, and he got invited down for the very first viewing a couple of weeks or so ago.
Says it is well worth another visit, so plans are being hatched!
