Steve, Guntruck on the Drome has just posted this message.
If it is verified I am also sending my best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

There is a report on The Miniatures Page that David Manley has suffered a stroke and is in hospital for assessment. I am sorry to see this and I know all of you as well as myself will wish him a full and speedy recovery.

    Get well soon Dave.

I am pleased to be able to report that Chris aka Cpn Duff has exchanged a few words with Dave via Facebook. He has now left the hospital and is doing as well as can be expected in the circumstances, although it is expected that his recovery will take some time.

Dave has just contacted the Drome himself.
    Here is his message.

" Hiya, thanks for all the good wishes
I'm not actually out of hospital yet, I'm in a less intensive ward and hoping to go to our local recovery hospital soon. I'm on the mend nut still VERY wobbly and mot likely to bemoaning anything for a while due to wonky eyes and hands. But getting there. "

Good to see that Dave Manley popped in yesterday to have a look around on the Anchorage.
Hope that means you are feeling much more chipper now Dave.
