    Brian Tunstall's book in particular is well worth a read. There's been a copy in my book case for a few decades :)

    That's interesting Dave.
    I am just on chapter two of Tunstall's book. It is a bit dry, but covers the evolution of battle tactics and signalling from the Commonwealth until the end of the Napoleonic wars. I am just at the end of the Dutch wars.
    When I finish this one, I'll get the other and do a comparison.
