Yet another Kickstarter boardgame. This one might be of interest to folks here although it's not a naval wargame. The project has over 20 days to go and it's already fully funded. Enjoy!

The canvas map is an interesting idea.

Nice gaming concept but I find that the price is expensive for what you get.

And with $43 postage to Sweden it's prohibitive.

Brandywine was the first public game that my school club ever did.
This one is a far cry from the 18 x 6' with a dog leg in it which we used on that day nearly 30 years ago.
If it had not been so expensive, I might have given it a go for old times sake.

Yes, postage is a killer and it's why I don't purchase more items from Europe as well.

Yeah, looks like a nice idea priced way to high. The personalized options are $37 for a personalized Brigade or HQ with your name on it. $37 for a small scrap of wood with a little paint and a sticker on it. I think I'll have to pass. The map looks cool but you can probably get one printed for $25-30, less if you print it on material other than canvas.

Those add ons prove the old saying "there's one born every minute". If the guys running this Kickstarter can get anyone to shell out 37 bucks for a small piece of wood with a label stuck on it then good luck to them!

You think that's bad how's this for a Kickstarter campaign where "there's one born every 10 seconds" might apply? Nice job getting $8,782,571 out of a campaign that only had a $10,000 goal!!

Canvas makes a great gaming surface.

Owning a printing business I have been able to print canvas game surfaces for both my Wings of Glory and Sails of Glory games.

The canvas surface tends to grip the bases slightly preventing small movements, and being able to print onto the canvas is great; I used a WW1 aerial photograph of the lines for the WW1 version and English countryside for the WW2 Wings of Glory game. It also rolls up easily and will drape over smaller table tops if required.
