Default Fresh recruit reporting for duty!

    Ahoy, fellow sailors!

Just stumbled upon this game while looking for a more complex alternative to the common Age-of-Sail tabletop games and I'm quite amazed about how nicely done both the miniatures and rules are!
So far all my game experience is limited to playing the Starter Edition with standard and advanced rules but the game has already cast a spell over me, so I thought I'll sign up here at the forum and get started by saying:

Hello and good day to everyone!

    Welcome aboard, Richard.

We have a wonderful solo campaign and rules in play at present. It could offer more opportunity to play. Let us know if you would like to join.

You can find the info here: http://sailsofglory.org/forumdisplay...-Solo-Campaign

    Thank'ee all.
Now where do I put all these things I had to find before I could come aboard?
1 gallon of red lamp oil for the port running lamp
1 gallon of green lamp oil for the starboard running lamp.
1 box each of port and starboard (brass) tacks.
    200 yards of Shore Line
A bucket of right elbow grease.
A pint of left elbow grease for the southpaws.
1 bale of straw to line the crow's nest.
A left-handed smoke bender for the galley stove.
5 gallons of Tartan paint (I think it's MacLaren--they were fresh out of Campbell).
And a hurdy-gurdy organ to make the powder monkeys dance.
