    Default Greetings from Peterborough, UK

Been eyeing SoG for a while (almost succumbed to the KS), until The Dice Shop Online had a sale (sail?) last week, and I picked up the starter set for UKP 55 and 4 extra ships for under a tenner each :D

I've just followed that up with a second starter set and 14 ships on eBay for £130 (bargain!) so there will be SoG action down the club coming soon.

Will be blogging on troubleatthemill.blogspot.com, and probably reviewing my experiences on an episode of the Meeples and Miniatores podcast sometime soon as well.

    Welcome aboard, indeed!

I was only in the KS halfheartedly and bought lots of ships a little cheaper on ebay. Still not really cheap.

    But lots of fun!

Welcome to the Anchorage, Mike. I sometimes come over to your area to visit my brother, who lives in Rutland.

Thanks for the welcome... still waiting on the eBay parcel, but I did manage to score a set of counter bags for sensible money :D

    Welcome aboard Mike!
Well done with your purchases. If any of your club members need ships, go no further than the anchorage, the prices are better than UK ebay to be sure.
    Fair weather to you.

So noted. I do believe the club can raise 12 ship logs and about 30 ships, as well as 9 4'x2' sea boards at present (note to self: must take G up on his offer to tart up some of those) :D My next plan is some scenery.
