    Default Range Ruler

Ok, I know I'm short sighted but I've looked through the rule book over and over again. What are the numbers on the reverse side of the range ruler (musket range side), are they to do with moves?

    How does it work?

    Neil, slightly confused.

I would suspect a regular metric ruler, so when setup instructions say "X distance from West edge, Y distance from North edge" you can place it without having to go find your tape measure.

The numbered side is used when the 'Forced Aim' optional rule is being used (page 36 in the rulebook). This is most likely to happen when using the rules for solitaire play.

Cheers David that cleared that one up nicely.
