    Default Gen Con Day 2-Star Wars News

    Big news from FFG. Ground based Star Wars game coming and expansions for Star Wars Armada. Only got a few photos as they were three deep around the glass cases. Also for DB the Victory class stardestroyer is about 4 1/2" long. See pic with hand as reference. Cheers.

    No. The first three shots are for the Armada game, which is due out in 1st quarter 2015. The rest of the pics are Wave 1 ships for Armada and one shot is of figures from "Imperial Assault"; Fantasy Flights new Star Wars ground game.

    It might just be my own impression but it seems as though the trend for established companies to (over?)use Kickstarter is on the wane.

    I'm relatively new to the hobby, but I don't think that Fantasy Flight has ever done a kickstarter... at least not for the Star Wars products.

    They have a tradition of keeping things secret until they feel the right time has been reached. KS is probably too open for them? I would also guess they are incredibly solvent too and wouldn't need to do a KS campaign for money?
