Default Treasure Galleon vs. Vitalien Brüder

When the fog was gone, the ships found themselfes in this position...

...some sailers told me that they see somthing else, but I think that they are drunk...
So Arnd Stuke (Unite) and Klaus Scheid (Terpsichore) found the Treasure Galleon and her Captain Don Promillo...(Genereux)
...and they bring their ships in a good position.

Scheid begins a broadside attack on starboard and can hit the Treasure ship.
At the pictures you see only the hitpoints...zero counters I put away before taking the foto!

Stuke also found himself in a shooting position, and Scheid fires too...both can hit Don Promillo

In this phase Promillo can shoot but Scheid can now fire the after starbord cannons
Stuke has sailed into the wind and goes back...

The next fights, first the canons...

    after that the musket fire!
But Scheid has sailed into the wind..

..and must go back...At this moment, we had a light collision....

and a heavy musket fire! ...and Stuke comes up!

Stuke has come up and can fire the front starboard canons

...it seems that there will be another collision, but Stuke can pass Scheid in a very short distance...

Don Promillo has sailed into the wind and must go back. Now the canons speak first....

    ....than the muskets.
The crew was killed by that attack and Stuke and Scheid can capture the treasure galleon...

I put away the Zero-markers before I made the pictures.

    That was the short version.

Maybe for the next solo games we can use a rooster, where the maneuver cards are listened, so that everybody can play it too:
    like this:
    1. Move

    Ship............Code.....Dice.....Card..........Cardnumber
    Treasure......ABC......1...........5..............B 2
    Unite...................................................A 14
    Terp....................................................C 8

Great AAR, Ulrich!! I don't think the men were drunk, I also saw the mermaid (at least I think I did)? Very nice photos and report. Thanks!

So, you're asking for future solo AAR's that we list all the ship movements so others can recreate the same events? That might be fun, but making sure all the ships start in the exact same position might be difficult especially if you don't have the SoG mats?

    Nice AAR,

Great Victory for the Vitalien Brüder. You better hope the Prussian Navy doesn't seek to destroy you.

I hope to be able to play tomorrow night (mother-in-law is at home)

You are right, we must find a system to fix the points where ships starts, then the listing of movements will be work I think..

The Prussian Navy is close to get these pirates!

Question: made privateer Scheid the first broadside?
Because the Scenario talks about the Player has to wait with shooting until the galleon makes the first shot. (prussian accuracy, you know )

Yes, I know that very well....., prussian accuracy !
This is a short report. No all situations/rounds has a picture and text. And, I must say, I was very lucky in drawing the damage counters..: the shoot with the front canons from the treasure ship has had no effect...zero counters!
At this point I was realy "Lucky Jack".
When I played a solo scenario weeks ago I had not luck..I put the heaviest damage counters out of the sack and the game ends quickly..
That ( luck in drawing the right counters ) can realy change every game..

    A nifty little action Ulrich.
The mermaid was a very funny addition, and put Bligh off his Rum for weeks.
