    Default The Caledonian Canal.

I'm a postman, (mailman to the colonial chaps) and my regular delivery includes the houses and companies around the Muirtown locks. in Inverness.

Most of the traffic along the canal is yachts and the occasional fishing boat, but now and again something different sails by.

No time for more than two quick pics as I'm on a single track road, canal one side steep slope on the other so nowhere to go, and cars waiting for me to move :)

Nice pictures, Gaz. I hope that the modern Vikings behaved themselves.

Thanks for the pictures. I hiked the Great Glen Way this June and saw nice yachts, but no tall ships or viking longboats. :)

I love the woodwork on the Viking Draken.

Thanks for these extra pictures Gaz.
I would be more than happy if I saw two in a year.
Mine averages about one a year, except when we went to the Yarmouth Tall Ships a few years ago.
