Default Diamondback's "Stretching Sculpts" Research--Thread Index

For everybody's convenience, I thought it might be a good idea to put together an index of the Stretching Sculpts threads so that those interested can get to them more quickly.

    SGN101 French 1777 Concorde/Charmante 32-gun frigate: http://sailsofglory.org/showthread.p...2-gun-frigates
SGN102 French 1782 Temeraire 74-gun ship of the line: http://sailsofglory.org/showthread.p...Temeraire-74-s
    SGN103 British 1773 Amazon 32-gun frigate: http://sailsofglory.org/showthread.p...2-pounder-32-s
SGN104 British 1760 Slade Common 74-gun ship of the line: http://sailsofglory.org/showthread.p...de-Common-74-s
    SGN105 French 1782 Hebe 38-gun frigate: http://sailsofglory.org/showthread.p...0-Gun-Frigates (h/t HMS Lydia)
SGN106 French Ocean 118-gun ship of the line:
    SGN107 British 1767 Swan 14/16-gun ship-sloop:
SGN108 British First Rate ship of the line: http://sailsofglory.org/showthread.p...sh-First-Rates

On assumptions: I tend to start with pure statistics to narrow the field, then look for draughts and drawings for those with more expert eyes to chime in and comment about which detail differences would require a new or modified sculpt and which would not. The one case where I don't even give the experts that chance is if a design change involves adding or removing a gun-deck (like second-rates as razee 74's, 74's as razee frigates, or 1757 Neptune's 90-gun design being adapted to produce the 1763 Albion 74's--which you could almost count as a "design-stage razeeing" I guess), such changes being an automatic New Sculpt in my book. IMO, Ares has already been over-liberal in stretching SGN108 with Ville de Paris and Hibernia, and I'm still not totally sold on slapping the 1780s first-rates' identities on what is basically a 1745 Establishment 100/HMS Victory sculpt, but what's done is done.

Also for reader convenience, I'm linking the latest public-release Reprint Chart here too, which will be updated as Ares announces new releases or we identify new acceptable stretches.

Eric, since this is the master index for the entire series and I'll be adding future expansions into it, would you please Sticky this?

Heck -- why not give it a separate subconference?

Because a single Sticky is less work for Site Admin. :)

    Hey DB,

    Thread has been stuck.

Thanks for your work on this.
