    Default My fleet

Hello everyone, I will show what I have done whit my fleet, I still have many more in my shipyard to make ready for sea battles but that's what I i have so far,
hope you like them, I'm not as good as when I was young i have only one eye
so it has become very difficult to see the little things.

    sincerely,
    Rene Flex

Well done, Rene. That is a fine looking fleet. Great 3-D terrain.

Your fleet looks awesome! Having rigged a few ships I know how much effort went into making that fleet look like it does. Excellent terrain in the background as well!

Wow!! All I can do is repeat what others have said - Awesome!

I also have to ask is that an LED magnifying lamp in the background?

Wow--that's an impressive show of force! I like the pennants, nice touch! Interesting basing alternative too--it looks like thin plastic over the card and thicker below?

I copied the original Card with Photo paper and glued it unto the original transparent platic base.

The fleet looks fantastic!! You have truly done an outstanding job on the rigging, especially for only having the use of one eye! I'll have to send you all my ships to do as your doing a much better job than I'm managing. Also cutting down the bases, looks far batter and more realistic, do you find it hampers movement at all though?

    Hi Rene,
Very nice, very nice indeed. I do like the way you have done the bases. As for the rigging etc I had to look a number of time to see that they are SOG ships. I take my hat of to you for some great work. I also love you shore-line.

No it is not Hampers, maybe a little harder than when it is on the large base, but I do not feel it is a problem it look better than on the large base (that's just my opinion) ..

    Rene,
I think you are so right. The old bases made them look at best markers for a game like "ludo" etc, at worst toys. Your work has done wonders for the look of the ships. I know that to picking them up is no problem with the thin bases. But this seems not to have got through to most shipmate here. I hope that seeing yours well make them see this.
