    Naval and Maritime museums in Sweden!

    If you visit Sweden, do not miss the oppurtunity to visit these museums.

    In Stockholm:
    www.sjohistoriska.se/en (General Maritime history)
    www.vasamuseet.se (The only preserved 17th Century ship in the world. A must if you are i Stockholm!)

    In Stockholm you can stay and live on a full rigged ship that today is a hotel. Pls check: www.stf-af-chapman.booking.com


    In Gothenburg:
    www.maritiman.se/en (Lots of ships to visit, including a sailing full rigger, a submarine and a destroyer)

    Thanks for the links, Pete. The hotel one did not work for me.

    Interesting exhibit at the General Maritime History - sailor tattoos; it could be insightful as to sailor beliefs, values, etc.
