1st Engagement of SOG

I had the honor of playing my first game of SOG at GameNite a game store in St. Louis, Mo. It was a blast. Bob ran a demo of 3 SOL French vs. the same for the British. We played the basic rules. The British had the first ship go down. My British SOL traded shots with a crippled French ship until a cannon shot finally sank the French SOL. One shot saw 3 crew taken out at once.
Loved the game, my 10 year old played for awhile-bonus. Kudos to Bob for running a very educational and more importantly fun demo game.

We have played 2 six player games, with the rest being 2-4 player games. It seems the more players the more fun the game is. Jaime got into six player game. And it was a very exciting fight. The British won in the end (it was Jaime's son SoL that survived).

Jaime, glad you had a good time. Hope we have many more like it.
