Thread: Scenario Ideas From "On This Day"

Default Scenario Ideas From "On This Day"

There have been a lot daily events posted over the past couple of years that would have given some ideas for historical scenarios. I had later wished that I had recorded them some way for future use. Now that I am organizing all the daily event posts into a consecutive thread, I have the opportunity to see them all again. As I run across events that look like scenario material, I'll post them on this thread.

Although the types of SoG ships are limited for now, I'll be posting scenarios that could likely be used in the future as more SoG models become available, have substitutions made for unavailable models with available ones, or use ships from a different manufacturer. I won't go into the details of setting up the scenario, but leave it to you to read through the event and pick out what parts appeal to you. Most scenarios will be for typical games involving a relatively small number of ships instead of huge fleet actions. I'll also post scenarios for ideas that have been discussed such as cutting out actions involving small boats.

I'll attempt to make each post such that you may scroll through the thread and be able to see something that interests you without having to read through every event.

For the record, while DdlH is a standard French Temeraire, this Amazon (1795) should not be confused with the 1773 Amazons in-game. Indefatigable was one of two (IIRC) razee frigates from Ardent-class 64's.
