    Hi All,

Long a fan of Wings of War, thought I might try the naval version, would have preferred the ship scale to be 1/1200 but beggers can't be choosers they say!

I decided to join following reading Rory's step by step, and looking at James' and Vol's work elsewhere.

Awesome stuff. I have had a few Davco and Langton models collecting dust for many years, now finally I have the time to paint and rig them.

    Welcome aboard Rob.

Rory, James, and Vol do make a impressive trinity.

    Welcome from Arizona, Rab.
I think most people wanted to see 1/1200. But after giving it some thought, working and customizing a 1/1000 scale ship should be easier. And for eyes as old as mine that's a big plus. Also for those of us who have a lot of 1/1200 ships, it shouldn't be too much trouble to mount them on SOG or SOG type bases.

    Hi Rab,
Sorry for being one of some, making you join this motley crew. Do not look at Jims (Nightmoss) ships. You will wish to cut your wrists.
    Be safe
