    Default Queen Anne's Revenge

I haven't been able to visit the site and post much lately, but I ran across this and found a link to it. I did a quick search and didn't see a topic about it so I hope this isn't a redundant post.

Apparently, they have raised some of the guns from Blackbeard's ship. I haven't read more yet as I wanted to share first.

I'm still eagerly awaiting SoG's release and will hopefully be freed up by then (job stuff, ug).

Thanks for the link. As they do more research it sounds like an interesting back story might unfold (some of the cannon have been found to be loaded).

Very nice site. This is one of the best things about our hobby, the history facts. It brings the whole thing to life! Thanks for sharing.

Cool stuff Japheth. Reading about such things makes passing the time until SoG arrives go faster. Thank you for posting. Of course the other topics covered on that site are also interesting although unrelated.

Yes, io9 is one of the sites I try to visit daily, when I have the time. It is nice since it is a blog and aggregator. That way, I can quickly get some basic info here and there about all sorts of pop-culture things that I like in the time it takes for others to have a coffee break (I was never much for the brew myself).

Nice article. It is always good to see a bit of history salvaged.
