Default Whiz Kids ships for sale

I have about 120+ Whiz Kids pocket models ships I am getting ready to put up on Ebay. I had some issues with my photos last night but I hope to have picture posted tonight. I used them for Trafalgar.

    20 1st and 2nd Rates
    30 3rd and 4th Rates
    30 5th and 6th Rates

The balance is smaller merchants, sloops, brigs, and the like. I added 6 "Barbary Pirate" like ships to the list. 2 large 3-masters, 2 medium 3-masters, and 2 medium 2 masters. I will be posting it on Ebay tonight. Sorry for the delay. I am having trouble transferring the pics from my phone. Picture viewer won't open them so I have to email them to myself.

I will be posting them for .50-1.00 each as a starting bid on Ebay.

If you have any questions let me know.

Don't sell them all. There has been some discussion here about applications in SGN with some of the Wizkids vessels.

Where are those discussions and what were the results? It would be nice to have those ships come out of mothballs.

Me too! I have a large stash of them as well, they got me into this game mess to begin with and were the inspiration for my large carriers in wings of glory . . .

I have used these for merchants. I would run a column along the diagonal of the table with SoG ships as escorts and interceptors. I assigned various levels of hit and sinking-victory points based on ship size. For an interceptor to hit, the appropriate ruler length had to touch the ships since they don't have bases. For each ship that successfully left the table at the far end, the escort team received victory points based on size of ship.

These can make for good obstacles in port scenarios, etc.

Like I said I just picked up the whole thing on Saturday and then had a busy weekend, so I haven't even gotten to fully appreciate what's in the starter set, but I'm gonna find a way to use them, even if I have 100 merchants and only 6 warships!!! lol.

Do you have any of the large Junks? I have collected a bunch and at some stage I am hoping David will publish his Junk/Chinese naval rules.

David, I look forward to the release! I think it will be a whole different feel of naval warfare. Not quite Renaissance, not quite Galley.
