A very good solution to storage with minimum space considered. Great for anyone who is not throwing them about at shows.
I like the cut of your jib sir.:salute:

With only the floor to lay in the new Kitchen and extension, I am now gradually reclaiming my Games room. At least the part which is finished. I still have a Fridge and Freezer to hoick out. This...
My idea is to just box my special ships for shows in the main Daniel.
Then my specials for the Campaign we do here, with an eye to rigging them, and also my ship on fire, or sinking ones which will...
I would certainly be up for acquiring the plastic inners Daniel. I suspect that I need to start drinking a lot more Tea and less G&T.
Rob.
Firstly a very warm welcome to the Anchorage on behalf of the sailors based here.
Coming from the Country with the famous Prague event is an extra special plus.
We had a great week there in April....
I have been struggling to find a way to draw the outlines onto your grid on the computer,or colour them in like yours. I cant see any way of doing it. I even tried changing to Photoshop but some of...
Thanks for the clarification on that DB. Should be straight forward now. i managed to bag Redoutable, and did a repaint of Beleraphon so knew about them, but was not sure about the KS Frigates.
Rob.
Now I have seen yours Dan I think I can finish mine to a degree of quality that will be acceptable.
I will try and get it done next week.
Rob.
I have all the ships cut outs drawn up Daniel, excepting the Kick Starter Frigates which I never got hold of.
Just need to make them presentable for you.
Rob.
Thanks Daniel.
That will save me some work.
Rob.

I just printed off the grid full size so I can lay the ships out on the squares.
Rob.
Got it Daniel.
I will get onto this as soon as I can.
Rob.
Copy that.
Thanks Daniel. I will await your PDF then.
Rob.
The foam I am using is from Figures in Comfort, and has 15 mm squares so may be comparable. Otherwise I will draw up a sheet of paper in 14 mm and superimpose the ships onto it.
Rob.
Which ships do you have Daniel. Quite a few will fit the same profile. I have every ships profile, so can fill in the rest for you if needed.
Rob..
I have not seen anything like it Daniel, but we can surely make one to fit ships. I may even have an unused tray somewhere which could be used to size up the models.
Rob.
I do use it Daniel but not for ships of this period. Is there anything you want to know about it?
Rob.
Despite having sorted most of my counters out into boxes already, that one with its extra small compartments and removable dividers looks like a good buy anyway. I will be looking out for one of...

I am reading it right now Chris.

I am hoping to get a system of foam cut trays eventually, which I can fit into one of KR's Metal boxes.

I personally feel it would be helpful to members seeking answers and options Eric.

As I said in post 9 you are quite right Rory.
In fact there are several threads about storage.
Here is a sample.
