Its not inconsistent, crew "casualties" really represents the ability to deploy manpower effectively. There is a sense of double accounting, but nobody is saying that when your crew units reduce to...
Its worth noting that the "damage" relates as much to the breakdown in crew morale, will to fight and combat effectiveness as it does to structural damage - moreso perhaps. So don't get hung up on...
LD gunports becoming flooding ports and hence being closed in high wind/sea conditions was a pretty common occurrence during the age of sail.
Already done.
I met him a couple of times. A great man who will be sorely missed..
There I have you,' cried Jack. 'You are bit - you are completely dished. Don't you know that in the Navy you must always choose the lesser of two weevils? Oh ha, ha, ha, ha!”
Which one did you choose?
I use the al fresco curing method myself unless I'm in a hurry. New prints were cooking off nicely inside an hour during the unseasonably good weather last week
Silent for me on that bearing too.........
I guess things will get even more exciting when the EU brings in the same rules in the Summer :/
I've made a load of 3D models of 1/300 and 1/600 WW2 costal forces craft which I was putting up for free on some of the Facebook naval groups. I've stoped doing that now as one of my friends said...
You know that Philadelphia Experiment?........
There has been a great deal of discussion "behind the scenes" that I and I guess others have been involved in. At one point there were firm choices made (or at least the impression that firm choices...
I thought the conclusion we reached at the time was that someone had scaled them to 1/1200 rather than 1/1000?
That is terrible news, I would like to add my condolences to both.

Did someone say Bucaneers?
The initial release covers the Imjin War of the 1590s, but the rules go back to the 10th century and I'm hoping the range of models will grow :)
Admiral Yi is revered by the Koreans in the same...
I hope nobody minds but I wanted to tip you off about a new project I'm involved with - Turtle Ships and the Imjin War between Korea and Japan in 1/1200

I find the Chitubox autosupport feature can be a good stating point but it needs editing afterwards to get rid of greeblies, and it can miss some unsupported elements in complex models.
Either of those would be fine. I'm using an original Anycubic Photon which punches out reliable prints once its dialled in. These two 1/700 models rescaled and printed to 1/1000 came off the Photon...
I feel your pain, I'm in the same situation with one of my projects, but I'm dependent on someone else doing something essential before we can proceed. Frustrating, but hopefully forging ahead soon...
Henry, people want ships NOW!!!!! (except for Tim of course).
Wargamers are never satisfied, and are worse when their favourite project isn't at the top of the suppliers "to do" list
Mike and I have been chatting about this and other projects in our regular Sunday international wargaming Zoom chats :)
Ares had a plan (as did the Cylons), Santissima Trinidad and Indefatigable as special packs, a trio of merchants that could serve ad auxiliary warships (including HMS Bounty and a Xebec). It would be...
Plastic models cost a fortune to set up (a sprue / frame costs in the region of £25,000) so they are only going to be used for volume sellers, items in starter sets etc. There is a minimum size for...
