I can empathize completely with your situation Vol. I'll be hitting 69 this year and I avoid sitting in place for too long for the same reasons you've shared. It was only recently that the doctors...
Excellent work, Vol. I wish you had more time in your day to devote to your hobbies.
Henry, thank you for taking the time to reassure us that your work on the Admirals KS is not being negatively impacted by your Civil War work. I have enough Kickstarter experience to know that when...
That would certainly work, but would definitely require more precise measurements for the two players mats, etc.
From what I could see on the Aerodrome the top down view that the GM took at the beginning and end of each turn would be sufficient for players to decide their moves? The issue that is more of a...
Just to clarify in my mind is the game on the Aerodrome involving 3 separate mats (one for each player and one for the moderator)? Or is there just one map that the GM is using to monitor moves? If...
Apologies, as I'm the one who diverted the thread.
Thanks Eric. For now I'll just keep hauling "Black Salt" in NA until I make enough millions to purchase a Santisima Trinidad or l'Ocean.
When this new Kickstarter popped up on Facebook I was rather shocked at seeing another 3D project beginning when the Admirals KS hasn't been concluded. I have no interest in Civil War miniatures so...
Ultimate Admiral Age of Sail definitely has some appeal, but I'm not going to invest in early access with Gamelabs. They have established a reputation for not listening to their players and digging...
I haven't played the game enough recently to be offering much advice, but personally I would start small (two ships/one for each player) and with basic rules and gradually add more complexity after a...
Looks great, but that's a lot of work for the person doing all the moves, photos and posting? I'd expect it could work here and might be a tad easier as you don't have to worry about 'altitude'? ...
Thanks for the reply and update on your Naval Action situation. While they've changed some things for the better I feel life on the PVE server is rather boring. It takes too long to get anything...
Wishing you the best of luck in your latest session. One or two good rolls of the dice might be all it needs?
What an awesome and entertaining AAR! Thanks for bringing a chuckle or two to my face. Well done on your mission too! :salute:
I was pretty much going to dismiss this as a strictly two player game and then I saw River Patrol: Solitaire. I may have to investigate this further. Thanks for the link.
If Ares intends Sails of Glory to continue then they need to step up with ships (new or old). 2022 seems like it might be a bit away, but if they do want anything new for the anniversary they no...
They look awesome!
Doesn't seem to be worth time and effort if no one participated last year? I think Jonas has the right idea with getting 2020 done or doing individual scenarios.
You're very welcome for the rep. I admit I had to go back and look at that scenario as I'd completely forgotten anything about it. Having reread it I do recall it being a challenge. I sympathize...
This has been repeated a number of times on their Facebook page, but folks don't seem to get it? Unfortunately, from my experience the metal casting for the masts is pretty bad. I have no issues...
I went back to check on Gabrio's response to the question of metal, resin or plastic. All he said was resin and metal. No indication of numbers or plastic components in the upcoming ships, so I...
If I recall correctly these will be resin ships, which means one or two per pack. It won't be in a six pack sets, I don't think?
I'm sure they'll stick with the other Black Seas ships which is 1/700.
