Looks superb Dave, but I just dare not start another period with Tripods looming on the horizon. Nevertheless I would love to follow your development of it once your hands improve. What scale Triremes or Galleys do you have in mind? :wink:

That does have a certain appeal. You would have to develop some rules for ramming attacks and perhaps develop more sophisticated rules for boarding.
There are quite a few decent sets of ancient naval rules out there (I've published a couple). If you wanted to bring in the more godly aspects then Galleys and Galleons from Ganesha would be worth a look
Not trying to influence my decision in any way then Dave! :wink: I have often considered doing an Athens vs Spata or Persia campaign.

Oooh, yes I would fancy this. I had an old Board game called Trireme, years ago came with 12 plastic triremes, so will follow with interest.
