Julian, they are magnificent! But how do you make your flags? They're really impressive for the size!
Beautiful work. If I may ask what games do you play with them?
Hi Dobbs.
Thank you. I do the flags and pennants using paper. I print the flag, cut it out and stick it with white glue. When the glue is drying, I bend the flag using the metal part of a brush. With my fingers I press the flag against that metalic part, that way I bend the flag.
Lovely as usual, ref the flags, do you use a laser printer or inkjet?
Also I take it you cut the flags using a sharp modelling knife?
Yet another magnificent Squadron of ships Julián.
Long may you continue to give us such enjoyment.
Rob.
Excellent work, sir! I am very impressed with this work. Rep point!
Fantastic job, love it. Is it historic to have a small boat behind the ships? ( I do no nothing about age of sails)
Just see the video. Nice to see how you are working. How do you chose colors? From book ,documentation or just your inspiration.
When a ship of the line was going to enter combat it was common to dislodge the deck to obtain maximum space. Depending on the strategy to follow, it was appropriate to do it or not. To put the small boat behind the ship reduces the speed and alway a small boats on the deck is like a parapet for minor shots.
Beautiful work, Julian. :salute:
