My computer start-up screen had this cool picture of two islands. I thought, "I want to sail there."
Now, I can, albeit on a small scale.

Attachment says invalid.
No I can't see it either Dobbs.
Rob.
I think I fixed it.
Fixed it you did! Yes it does look like an undiscovered island in a continent far away!
What did you use to make it?
The grass is model railroad grass. The sand and rocks are sand and pebbles.
Really like your islands. Has lots of character.
I found another material to skip the cutting and painting - children's air dried clay. Easy to sculpt and pre-colored. Dries light and sturdy. You may want to try it out sometime.
Looks like Pyramid- and Gorilla Island.
Nice ones.
I just googled it. My inspiration was Wharariki Beach, in New Zealand.

Thanks David, and thanks for the rep!

Dobbs,
VERY cool islands -- enjoy them ! When I was young I once thought I would buy myself an island, but...(well that's along story...)
