Chris, have you tried f-side games. Not a full range by any means but not bad the last time I looked. Still I agree with the sentiment that UK needs a restock of ships, and other accessories. Look forward to new Spanish range.

We have another information, something we have already seen and about which DB wrote a few posts above.
"San Juan Nepomuceno, fighting and captured by the English at Trafalgar, is one of the most famous examples of the Spanish 74-gun ships of the line. Together with her sister ships, like San Agustin, and the captured version "HMS San Juan", this ship is one of those featured in the next wave of Sails of Glory models."

I'm curious for the combat values of those.
Thanks for the heads up on this information. Appreciate it being posted here.
Thanks Daniel.
In that case, if you are sure all is well, I will return the pack to my box.
Rob.
Yes, I am - nobody told me anything about them. You are very kind that you had it in your mind for such a long time
I was actually very upset that as a guest I damaged any cards, and they all looked very wet at the time. No one told me to whom they belonged, and I could not find out. When I went to look for the person who collected them at the end of the afternoon, they had already gone from the radiator. Thus I am glad things are all right. Just do not let me put beer near the table ever again.
Rob.
There are many types of gaming experience and this is one of them. For the next time you'll have a special place near the table with "beer holes" ;)
Thank you Daniel.
Rob.
At your service, sir :hatsoff:
Does any one have any hint as to a time line yet?
Nothing concrete as far as I know Hugh.
Rob.
Depressing is it not, not even a murmour of a release date, only a pre production pic of one model.
I know we are told that they will be nice and are well on the way, but a date would be nice
I want more toys!
Just imagine what it has done to those of us who have been waiting for each release from the very start Hugh.:minis::sleep::minis::sleep::minis::sleep::minis::shock:
I am a veritable bag of nerves.:surrender:
Bligh.
Yes, they dont seem to be rushing themselves to take my money.....
One thing I have learnt from waiting for the next wave is...patience!
I'm waiting for WGF series 9.
Wings of Glory is a good option to shorten the waiting tine for SoG stuff.
...but a few new pictures would be nice.
They didn't showed anything new at Gencon, die they?
I don't know if we see some new ships this year.
I guess not.
We still have no official Ares Games Homepage anouncements or pictures.
Hi, after my long absence from the forum :salute:
For those who do not have a facebook, pics of the new wave:

Great stuff Kamil, and some names other than Leopard and Leander which have already been bandied about.
Rob.
Looking forward to these need Spanish ships and this wave will scratch that itch
He he already got my first repaint in mind for the Portlands.. HMS Bristol identical to HMS Leander apparently, I wil have to pop into Bristol and check out the museums for any pics
That just has to be done Chris, and Mrs B is going to want one of those too, so I had better order two Leanders myself.
As to the Spanish, I will also have to get both incarnations of them just to get a reasonable Squadron to support the Santisima Trinidad if she ever appears!
Rob.
Yay, Spanish! More saving required for me! :minis:
Thank you for posting these pictures. My existing Spanish captains are looking forward to the arrival of their countrymen.
Now they even sent out an email to us old Kickstarter backers.
Interesting facebook stuff

I just hope for Wave 4 they give me a chance to review the blueprints before they commit... there was an Epic Bass-Ackwards between SGN108 and SGN201 that might have been fixed if I'd been allowed to see the development drawings and samples first. (All of your SGN108s are basically repainted Victory, while 201 is Definitely NOT Victory. Trying to figure out how to call this to Rob's attention, and what to propose as a fix, before either gets reprinted--if it was me calling the plays I'd just trade the models straight across for the next batch and publicly post an "Oops We Goofed" on the website along with log/card/insert corrections to turn the three SGN108's into Victory and her two 98-gun sisters.)
Well, that will probably never happen, but I hope coming releases will be a more correct mix of the ships. I don't expect a possible repaint representing second rates would be as "luxurious" or detailed as the Victory model.
That solves my lack of 98s then, without having to wait light years for them to be/never be released. Just a matter of printing a few cards off, and getting some Victory's to replace the three deckers.
Rob.
It's a shared post by Roberto Di Meglio that only says: "Pronte a partire!"
Thanks Jonas.
Not much to add then really. I was half hoping that they had been pre released somewhere by mistake.
