Files: Generic Dynamic Ship Log - Simplified (1.1)

This file contains three generic dynamic ship logs - simplified version - that you can customize. There are fillable fields for ship name, burden, maneuver deck, veer, gunnery factors, musketry. Open file in a PDF reader and tab through the fields to change them to your liking.

We used laminated versions of these at Origins, along with dry erase markers. Instead of placing damage-chits on the log, we used the marker to indicate the amount of damage; crossing box out when completely damaged. Eric had folks put dots below the sail settings, and when ships take a sail hit, they put 1/2 of an "X" in the fastest sail setting. Upon a second sail hit, they complete the "X", and are no longer able to sail at the setting.
